Kings and Queens in the Bible

Everyone the Bible calls king or queen, with the verse that says so, from the American Standard Version (1901). Tap a name to open its card.

In each group the names follow the order in which the Bible first calls each one king or queen. This follows the reigns closely, but it is not a dated list.

The list also includes the rulers the Bible says reigned, the Pharaohs (“Pharaoh king of Egypt”, Genesis 41:46) and the Caesars of Rome. Where several people share a name, the card lists each of them.
